A Thermal Protective Aid is an emergency hypothermia bag, or as an extra emergency cover to go over a sleeping bag. Suitable for situations where life is threatened by loss of body heat.
 
We need to carry one each onboard for our Atlantic Crossing.
 
We have a list of essential safety and mechanical equipment needed to cross the Atlantic Ocean. We are trying to source most of this from suppliers/manufacturers using discounts and goods in kind but it's a pretty long list!
