Shiny Things

It's a huge milestone today. We're finally bolting parts back on to Poppet, after all the issues with the porous original gelcoat and paint.

The crew have been discussing departure points, with a likely start in the Algarve (Portugal) in December. Our Firstmate is going to start reaching out to yacht clubs and marinas to research more local knowledge. We are also mindful of the Orca situation in the area and in the Straight of Gibralta.

We'll head towards The Canary Islands and make a stop only if needed before following the Trade Winds to the Carribean.
