We had great success at the Southampton International Boat Show 2023. Set up on stand D002 on the walk from the main entrance to the show's centre, we were passed by nearly 92,000 visitors. Many stopped by to learn about our adventure, Poppet, and sponsors.
In its 54th year, the 10-day event has been heralded as a success – despite adverse weather conditions. The show welcomed more than 650 craft, with in excess of 350 boats berthed in the marina alone.
Through the kindness of attendees at the event, we also added money to our charity collection, which has already been passed on to Macmillan, Mind, MS-UK, and St Helena Hospice. Our running total is on our donation page.
Our skipper talked on the Fore Deck Stage about the project's involvement with The Green Blue, our sustainable sailing pledge, and what simple things other sailors can do to reduce their impact on our oceans and waterways.
We have been invited back to the Southampton International Boat Show 2024, and we can't wait to meet up with our friends, new and old, next year, 13-22 September 2024.
We will cross the Atlantic from The Canary Islands to the Caribbean during winter 2024/25.
